Remarks
For uncomplicated single and multiple pregnancies, medical certificates must be written in English and include the following information:
- Patient’s name.
- Estimated date of delivery.
- Confirmation of an uncomplicated single pregnancy OR an uncomplicated multiple pregnancy.
- Confirmation that the patient is “fit to fly” for the entire journey, including return (where applicable).
- Date, stamp, & contact details of a qualified doctor.
- Valid 3 weeks from date of issue.
For complicated pregnancy, you are advised to contact Bangkok Airways Reservation Center / Call Center at least 48 hours in advance of departure to submit a medical clearance information form (MEDIF) and obtain medical clearance.
On the departure date, PG reserves the right for the ground staff and/or pilot in command to deny boarding to a pregnant passenger whose health condition is deemed unfit for flying. This will be a decision made under the consideration of the pilot in command, regardless of a medical certificate or a MEDIF.
If your journey involves multiple airline partners, please be aware that expectant mother policy may vary. For more details, please visit the operating carrier’s website prior departure.
